Kelsey Barajas, LLMSW
Limited Licensed Therapist
Therapy doesn't have to be stiff, intimidating, or feel like sitting across from someone asking endless questions. Kelsey believes that healing happens when kids and teens feel comfortable enough to be themselves and sometimes that means talking, sometimes it means laughing, and sometimes it means playing an intense game of Uno.
Kelsey specializes in working with children, teens, and their caregivers as they navigate anxiety, behavioral concerns, emotional challenges, family changes, and the everyday ups and downs of growing up. She understands that every child is different, which is why she creates sessions that are flexible, engaging, and tailored to each child's unique personality and needs.
With experience providing therapy in a variety of settings, Kelsey knows that meaningful progress doesn't always happen sitting in a chair. Some days therapy might include games, creative activities, mindfulness, movement, or simply taking a break from the pressure of always having the "right" answer. Her goal is to create a space where kids feel safe, parents feel supported, and everyone knows they can show up exactly as they are.
No matter where your family is starting, Kelsey is ready to meet you there with compassion, creativity, and maybe even a deck of Uno cards. Together, you'll build the skills, confidence, and resilience to face life's challenges, one step at a time.
